MSDS Data Quality Report – Spring Early Childhood Collection

As a reminder, for the 2025-26 Spring Early Childhood Collection, CEPI will no longer send data quality emails. To see your data quality alerts, use the Data Quality Report in the MSDS application. These reports are refreshed every Thursday throughout the collection cycle, as opposed to our previous method (two data snapshots per collection).

MSDS Maintenance: Viewing False EL Requests fixed

All False EL requesters, Certifiers, Local Super Users and Quality Review Roles should now be able to see the status of any requests submitted. To check the status of a False EL Request, do the following:

Click on Manage Requests on left side menu, then click False EL Requests.
The system will automatically launch to show the "New" requests which have not been processed yet.
Click on the "Filter" button and change the to "All", "Approved", or "Denied" and click the filter button again to see the results.
You can also export all of your requests into an excel file for your tracking purposes.

REMINDER, January 16, 2026 is the last day to submit any requests for the 2025-2026 school year. New requests submitted after that date will be denied and you will have to wait till the next submission window to resubmit.

The data in the MSDS Data Quality Report is refreshed every Thursday
Feb. 25: Certification Deadline
