Days and Clock Hours - Day Requirements
Last week the governor signed into law a bill that states districts do not need to meet the days requirements if they exceeded 6 snow days prior to April 20. Please note that users will receive a warning message in the Days and Clock Hours Application if the days entered falls short of the day requirement. However, there will be no penalty if the hours submitted exceeds 1098 hours.

Days and Clock Hours - Day Thresholds
Districts that submitted a request by May 1, 2013 to change their day threshold in the Days and Clock Hours Application should now be able to see those changes when logged into the application. If the new day threshold does not appear or is not correct, please contact Brian Ciloski at CiloskiB@michigan.gov or 517-373-3352 for assistance.

New Public Data Sets Page
On the left navigation bar, click on "Data Sets" and then on "Public Data Sets." The Educational Entity Master (EEM) has a new method for you to access more complete data. This new page allows you to download EEM data sets containing public data for the Entity Types selected. Unlike the Legacy DBF Files, this page allows you to choose updated data for all Entity Types that are currently in use in the EEM. Be sure to reference the Column Descriptions.pdf as well.

Welcome to the Educational Entity Master
The EEM application replaced the School Code Master and serves as the new directory used for identifying and linking educational entities with many other data collection applications in the state of Michigan. Please note the location of the application user guide, help screens and glossary of terms located in the links at the top right of this message. These tools will help you acclimate to the various search features, reports, mapping capabilities and data sets within the EEM.
